The Unified Forecast System – Steering Committee (UFS-SC) is a part of the governance process for the Unified Forecast System (UFS).
The UFS-SC governs the content of the community-based UFS. Its essential functions are to define the community governance structure of the UFS; develop strategic direction and strategic plans for the UFS; and provide guidance regarding the content and development path of the production suite.
