Coordination Meeting for the United Forecast System (UFS) Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) : August 1 – 3, 2018

The primary objective of this meeting is to finalize updates needed to the current SIP to build the draft FY19-FY21 SIP document, building on the team updates from the 31 Jan – 1 Feb 2018 SIP meeting. SIP teams will provide an update on activities and conduct further coordination of team plan documentation. Additional review/revision of the draft document will be conducted following the meeting with a goal of releasing a smooth FY19-FY21 SIP by mid-late Oct 2018.

Other objectives include a review/determination on the future strategy for NOAA NWP data assimilation as well as delivery of updates on SIP related resources and activities. The agenda and slides are listed below
